Newly Enlightened
Well ive been messing around with my surefire LX2 which im extremely happy with unless im indoors where i find myself missing and OP reflector. Anyway yesterday i decided to test the waterproofness of the light, needless to say i was extremely dissapointed. i submerged the water in about 6 feet of water and shook the light for a minute and left it underwater for about 3 minutes. when i opened the light i saw beads of water near the end of the threading. To be quite honest the light is lacking lube which i will apply today when my nyo gel arrives from lighthound, i will lube the light and re preform the test, if the light fails the test again i will call surefire. Anyone else have a data point or thoughts on the subject?
