Based on the recomendations from this forum, I bought a TK11 from PTS back in 2009. Last fall I washed and dried my hunting jacket and didn't realize my TK11 was still in the pocket. It wouldn't work after the one hour ride in the dryer, even with fresh batteries. When I opened it, everything was still dry inside though.
I sent it in to PTS and later got a call from Mike saying my TK11 works perfectly now. Evidentally the trip in the dryer moved the tail switch enough to cause it not work but he was able to reset it and it works fine. Great light and great customer service.
