Looking for those experienced with either the TK50 or Malkoff drop-in. I have a few rechargeable D cells laying around, an unused Maglite and some extra money to spend. What would be the output comparison between the Fenix TK50 and a Malkoff 3-6 D cell drop-in. I am primarily looking for the best throw. The Fenix obviously has the extra modes, the Maglite would have a longer runtime. The price to modify the Maglite or purchase the TK50 is essentially the same. What do you think?
