So I am looking at getting one of the two lights mentioned above for an EDC light.
I like the Jet I pro warm (more neutral I think) tint and its ability to use AA batteries or 14500. I am not sure about the SMO reflector though. Is there the dreaded Cree rings? Can you change the reflector to an orange peel type and if so what reflector?
I like the Lumapower because it is smaller and the user interface is simple and it has a fwd clickie. I am not sure exactly how bright the Lumapower is. I found some lux ratings, but I can only accurately think in terms of lumens. How is the throw versus flood of this light? In another review I also read that this light is slightly warm. Anyone with any experience with this light?
