Quick question from anyone expert: How to remove a 7135 chip without damaging it!

I'm not really an expert, but I usually remove them with a soldering iron. I place the iron tip on the gnd tab at the back of the 7135 chip and wait for the solder to melt, then push it off of its solder pads. The gnd pad is the largest pad. How are you planning to solder them in parallel? If you're planning on stacking the chips, you should know that the 7135's could overheat quicker that way because they're no longer soldered directly to the driver, and instead are soldered directly on top of another 7135 chip that's covered with plastic. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
