I found the LED configuration I want at Cutter and they have a wide variety of bin colors available with more on the way for the XM-L. Which is considered the best for use in a flashlight.

1A, 1C, 1D, 2B, 2S, 2T available now with E5 (neutral white), E7 (3000 warm white), AND E8 (2800 white) in March

I just ordered 3 different bins to compare, 1A, 1D and 2B. with 2 mounted on a heat sink at a time, I did an A/B test, (both hooked up to a dual output power supply and alternating back and forth judging to two seeing what I liked more) In the end I ranked them 2B the best, 1D, and 1A, which matches up with their order on the binning/labeling pdf. The 1A was quite cool, and even the 2B was a touch cool compared to the 5700k SST-50 and -90's IVe played with. The 2S would be a more green version of the 2B (havent seen it, but meh) and the 2T would be wamer but greener than the 2B.

Bring on the 3A color bin, T6 or even U2 flux binned XM-Ls I say. (I can hope cant I?)
