I grew up in the Chicago area. There surely has to be something there. Chicago is a big place. My dad was the main systems analyst for Baxter Intl. in Deerfield. I worked at Motorola in Schaumburg for years. Busy area. Might start with something you don't like to do. I found the best opportunities really came along when I was not really looking for them, if you know what I mean. Take care.

Buy (and read)the book "What color is your parachute?" by Richard Nelson Bolles. It is available at or through most bookstores, or probally through Amazon.com. It is THE BIBLE of job hunting. Updated every year for the last 20 plus years. Easy to read - TONS of usefull info including internet websites... just do it.

Dont feel too bad, I cant seem to find a job either. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I have an Associates Degree in Computer Information Mangagement.

You would THINK that would be an easy field to find a job in, but not in my area aparently. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
