Well, at least a picture of it now posted on Oveready.

Looks like an XP-G triple in the bezel/head. I think previous posts from Tom indicated this is NOT a P60 drop-in, but a dedicated integral head assembly.

Shane,

I can confirm that that new head will in fact come with an integrated light engine as a one piece unit.

Guess it is time for anxious nightly email checks waiting for THE email again...

Now that we have left the path of P60 lego I really hope they will also come up with something more radical!

The new head is on the overready website now! But not only the head, a complete moddoolar stubby flashlight, too. This is flashlight porn :)

They look freaking awesome! too expensive for me at the moment though.
I noticed something disturbing. The lumens rating is not OTF. Maybe not a dealbreaker, but still slightly disturbing. And are they waterproof?

Boooyah! I scored a black head with crenelated bezel and a triad tail to go with the tl-34 that I already have :)

Good luck to everyone else. I know these will sell fast...

Nice...scored gray head, short body, short clip and tail. Ordered up a IMR 18350, and I'm reasy to rock as soon as it comes in!!

Now that I think about it...I wonder if I need IMR 18350, or if the "regular" 18350 would run the light as well, just with better runtimes.....anybody know? PM me if you do. Please. I think I'll get the longer body to run 2x18350 when I "need" the extra couple hundred lumens.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in again!!! :ohgeez:

I think I got the last gray head. Should go nicely with the Triad tail and the 2 bodies I bought last month.

Im really frustrated with this, Why only release it with a triple led unit installed witch most of us already have bought. Hoped for months now to be able to finish this moddoolar light but no way im paying 200$ for the head with a led unit i already have bought from the same company. Sorry but this is really dissapointing.

I was also hoping for a nice P60 head. Since I have two triples I don't need a complete new head. :(
IMHO the 3 Moddoolar parts don't fit together at all. :shakehead But still no doubt that these will sell fast.

These look great but I was hoping for a single XM-L in a deep reflector perhaps like a mini Malkoff Houndog. I thought The M2-50 was inspiring. I think I'll go the Cryos route for the time being.

Moddoolar is a complete new platform. The only limits are Tom's time and imagination. At least two additional heads are likely.

I was also hoping for a nice P60 head.

We expect to have a smoothie and finned (Cryos) head ready to go in the next few weeks, in addition to our complete line of Z44 variations. All are compatible with the P60 Interface.
