I'm new to CPF and it seems like a great resource so I thought I'd ask here
I'm trying to build a driver circuit for a flashlight I have lying around and the PAM2803 driver IC seems like the perfect fit. I will be using 1x CR123 battery to drive a Cree XM-L at about 600mA. The problem is I can't seem to find any samples or distribution here in the US. Has anybody used this chips in their designs, how to you get/buy samples?
Or are there any similar boost chips that have distribution in the US? I need to be able to hand solder it since I don't have any reflow ovens lying around.
