Decided the other day that my EDC flashlight needs an upgrade. Currently have a MKII Jetbeam 1xAA (the tadgear version). Have done a bunch of looking, but currently having problems trying to decide if I want to go the custom route or grab a Jetbeam BC10 or something equivalent. Not sure if I want to do rechargeable batteries or not, have heard some problems with them and don't know if the technology has passed that point.
Most of the flashlights use comes from work. Helping me find dropped screws or digging around in the back of a machine (I'm a machinist) trying to figure out which breaker popped. Due to the close in nature of the use of the light I don't have a significant preference for throw or flood.
Just looking for suggestions, Thanks in advance!
