My Nitecore D11 seems to have a momentary Strobe... feature?

My new Nitecore D11 turned up yesterday and whilst familiarising myself with the controls I was testing the momentary modes where you slacken the bezel and depress the tail switch.

Something that isn't mentioned in the manual happens with mine.

If I fully depress the piston I get a momentary strobe (until released). To get a full light I need to half depress the button.

Is this normal? Does anybody elses do this?

I emailed Nitecore tech and they just emailed back the manual (which of course I already have).

Cheers,

Andy

On the original D10/EX10 UI, when the bezel is unscrewed to the momentary position you could fully press the piston in and it would go to maximum brightness. Perhaps they changed it to strobe on the D11? I don't have a D11, anyone with a D11 who can test this?
