Sunway M40C XM-L?

As a bright light fanatic as well as an astro imager (tough combination), I was interested in the Sunway M40C. This would be a perfect combo, with the red LED (for night vision) and also the throwing white, for chasing-off critters.

Has anyone heard anything about an XM-L version or other higher power upgrades to this series?

Yes, a XM-L version seems to be planned.

I like the M40C very much and this upgrade could be very nice. A M40C with 4 levels and without the colored led's would be perfect for me.

I'm very interested in a M40C XM-L, any idea when it's being released?

I really like the design and aesthetics of that light, the additional throw of an XM-L would make it perfect. I'd prefer the colored LED's stay, but that's just a personal preference.

just bought a JetBeam PA40- neutral, quite happy, but I wander if you could compare the two?
they share some common characteristics.... :thinking:
