Greetings all,
I just came across this forum, and thought you guys would be the perfect people to ask: What would be an ideal light for mounting on my AR-15? I need the light to meet a few criteria:
1.) Lightweight as possible.
2.) Less than 1" in diameter (I want to use this mount: http://www.botachtactical.com/kzofm.html)
3.) As bright as possible (200 lumen range)
4.) Something that won't break the bank.
5.) AA Batteries would be ideal, but if it's the perfect light, I would be willing to go CR123.
I am a flashlight noob, so I will defer to you flashaholics. I want to learn, so feel free to throw suggestions or tips my way! I currently use a Quark Tactical AA2 for my EDC and love it. I would ideally like something shorter for a weapon light, though. I see the post about the JetBeam BC10, and I am very intrigued. Woudl this be an ideal weaponlight? Are there lights better suited to my needs?
Tank you for your time!
