hi all! sometiem ago I asked about wiring 2 AMC7135 boards in parallel, but the replies I got fell victim to teh Greart Crash and I coudl not recover them from Google cache

So I hope yuo will allow me to ask again....

I have trouble tarnsfering the mode changing signal to the slave board....

Then I wired them as this

but this time I am getting a single full power mode....

viewing some other connections it am getting the impression that the chip leg that is getting the Atmel signal should also be connected to LED/ABT+ like this

thanks, kostas

well I was so sure about teh final schematic that I went ahead and re-assembled the sandwich that way...

and it works!

and it goes to show that I am learning electronics the hard way...

Just saw this thread through search. Great info here! I'm gonna subscribe. What did you end up putting this sandwich into?

I believe those chips are basically stacked parallel to each other. As long as they are electrically paralleled, they should all turn on and off at the same time. Not sure what the via is connected to on the other side, but glad you got it up and working. Nothing a good night's sleep and some cocoa in the morning can't fix!

the bad thing is that the sandwhich has beeb de/reassembled so many times that parasitic resistance has increased too much....

now I cannot go more than 3.7 amps with IMR batts instead of the 4.1 it was...
Nevermind, it has been a hard but giving trip....
