I love Mag Cs. XML + deep rebel SMO + 2C make a super thrower
that is small, comfortable to hold in hand, besides beating ROP, Mag 1185, Mag 5761 etc.,
This set-up will beat those 24W HIDs in throw with instant on/off that HID lacks

• Brand new Black mag 2c
• XML highest bin T6 with 1D tint on 14mm board from cutter electronics,
• The best tint in my eyes, right on the black locus, no green, no yellow, no blue, it's at the neutral end of the cool white.
• H22a P7 HAIII heat sink with top filed down flat for 14mm flat bottom star
• Arctic Silver thermo adhesive for star glue-down
• Arctic silver 5 thermo paste between heat sink Mag C tube for optimum heat transfer
• 22 AWG Silver Coated copper core Teflon Wires
• Deep rebel SMO reflector, full focus function can adjust beam & spot size
• Super throw, measured >50,000 lux @ 1 meter using my Extech EA30 meter
• This set-up will provide very long run time, estimated about 3 hours if 2x Dx C-lions are used or 2hrs if using 2900 mAH 18650.

The driver is DX 20330 single mode P7 driver, which I've used in the past on SST-50 mods,
it's very beefy, I was barely able to fit it in there. Diameter barely clear the C tube & it's tall. The heat sink had to be pushed in about 10mm deep to fit the longer reflector. In the end, took the switch apart, rewired it & put it back in there in reverse, this gave me a few mm extra room.

Don't know if people know, the bottom side of the C switch is slightly shorter than the top side,
reverse it will gain some clearance but add extra work, need to re-do the switch & move the pos. to the opposite end, drill a hole & send the neg. lead through the hole inside of teh switch & out to the opposite end too. In the end, it work out perfect. I was able to close the bezel all the way.

Yes, it was last night, the snow was just started falling last night when I went for the beam short, now, we have 4-6" on the ground.
