Z59 with Malkoff dropin

I have a couple of (probably dumb) questions for you all.I did search but didnt find exactly what i was after.

1. Does the z59 Surefire switch that comes with the G2L Fire and Rescue have a suitable Amp rating to reliably handle a Malkoff M61 or M61L dropin?

2. During my search i read quite a few Z59 failure comments...but these seem to be older posts.have things improved with regard to these switches?

I've seen a few springs come off, but other than that the only failures on the current iteration are amperage blows. Always at over a full amp, the 61 is not considered high amp and does fine.
