Now, my plan is to compile all the votes into the top 5 in each category and then list them as a CPF member's top rated LED lights post. Hopefully it will help the non-flashaholic when searching for a new light.

Please make sure that you properly categorize the lights you list. It will help when compiling the data.

I will submit my list when I get home from work.

Clearly, I don't know squat about throwers. Great idea, btw. It might be worth splitting each category into lights that use common batteries and lights that use Li-ion.

Great Suggestion!

1 - Keycain:
-Streamlight NANOLIGHT ($5.45)

2 - $25 & Under:
General Use: Nebo Redline
Thrower: Dorcy 41-4750 180 Lumen High Flux LED Cyber Light

I don't own any lights over $25. I hope that CPF can help me decide what is worth more than entry-priced flashlights. If anyone has good suggestions, please do a comparison of these lights and what you think is worth more and why. I truly believe that this is a very legitimate request as all of the lights mentioned here are best-sellers at Amazon. Therefore there is a very large potential audience in great need of being so informed.

Hi Atisch ......... CPF has flashaholics who buy heaps of lights and do lots of things with them. If you want advice then stick around a while and see what people say. Here you will note all the pros and cons on many top lights with those that are most liked being the most talked about (well sort of). The main line of lights here are, in no order of preference, 47's, Zebra, Eagletac, Fenix, Nitecore, ITP, Jetbeam and Thrunite. Watch carefully and see how some models or brands get bad press which is an indicator to wait until the manufacturer irons out the flaws or look at another brand.

Great Suggestion!
