I just received My 4Sevens Maelstrom S12. I would like to note that 4Sevens ships very fast and has great customer service. The first thing I notice is the size of the L.E.D. This light is very bright. Almost too bright to use indoors. Enough of the b.s. here are some comparisons

mag1164, sunlite eagle turbo (otf lumens), 4Sevens maelstrom s12, 2d mag led 114 lumen, Stanley HID 4300k bulb

Shots taken 10 feet from a wall with a blackberry 8530. Camera was pointed at wall for 10 seconds before taking photo so camera could adjust.

Thanks...great comparison, but hey.... is your dog blind after that??

HAHAHAHA! I didn't even see the dog! I think it's been vaporized! Is that his collar laying there next to the pile of ashes?

I was going to buy one but can't find anyone with batteries, kinda dopey having a light without them. Who would make a flashlight and but not enough batteries for it?

I purchased my 26650 from lighthound 1 day after purchasing the light and received it 1 day before I received the light.

I just used the light outside tonight. I was expecting this light to be bright but it exceeded that. I said this in another thread but it puts out so much light in an area that it would seem you'd be crazy to use this sst-90 in a throwing reflector. I feel as if all my lights are obsolete to me. Thanks a lot 4sevens, all my lights except edc are going to collect dust!

mesa...did you get the AW IMR 26650 or the Lighthound 26650? Nice to know that you're not restricted to only using the 4Sevens brand 26650.

I've been using this light at night out in the desert and it's amazing how much it lights up. I compared it to a ROP Hi, and it kills the ROP.
I love the size of this light. You can carry it and don't feel you have brick on your belt.

I went to Lighthound and was only able to find this. Is this what you had in mind? I could not find the Lighthound 26650. Also does the IMR have the same spec more or less than the 4Sevens?

Yes I used the lighthound 26650 and it works great. brandocommando you will be so pleased with this light. Ive been using this light at work because I work as a mechanic and even in a well lit shop with sunlight passing through, I still get blinded.
