Best Battery/Charger for Jetbeam JET-III M R5

Any recommendations? AW batteries look good but are expensive. I don't mind paying that much, but are they worth it? Where should I buy, and which 18650 cell is the best? 2200, 2600, 2900 MAH? I also will need a charger. Thanks.lovecpf

I use unprotected cells in my single cell lights and a Pila charger. I harvest cells from new or nearly new laptop battery packs.

I recommend a Pila Charger and the AW 2900 batteries. The MAH is just referring to the capacity of the cell, the higher the number the bigger the gas tank. You only need one cell because there is no problem with "topping it off" frequently, but I like having some extra rechargables ready in case I need them. Some lights have problems with flat top cells, but I think that is becoming a thing of the past. Check out the batteries subforum.

i have the JB 3mR5 with AW 18650 cells and pila charger. You won't have an issue with the flat top batteries with this light. This set up is reliable, i have had absolutely 0 issues!
