A long time ago when I heard about keeping flashlight threads clean, I bought a can of silicon spray...so I've used that from time to time.
Then I read about different types of solvents and heard about Deoxit. Then I found that Radio Shack sells Deoxit in 2-packs. DN5 and GN5 (gold). I bought the 2-pack, but was hoping the formula is not too abrasive for general lubing. But I also realize that Deoxit makes several different products, and have seen the "tube" type that 4Sevens recommends.
Are there any specific recommendations that CPF'ers might say is "the" one to use and stick with?
