Jetbeam pa10 boasts 650 ansi lumens from a single 14500
Yeah, I was wondering when someone was going to mention this light^^
The Jetbeam PA-10 goes WAY over 300L on turbo with a single 14500! I bought one about 5 weeks ago, and it is bad-a$$ on a 14500.... But like any small light trying to run at 650L, it gets hot in a few minutes. So the 650L turbo is a short term option, which is to be expected with a light thats about than 1" in diameter with no cooling fins. All the LED lights that run at 600-650-700 Lumens on high all have much wider and larger heads, usually with heat sinks and cooling fins. Any small light you buy that will allow you to run a 14500 for significantly higher brightness will get hot. You shouldnt plan on using it for long periods. If you need a light that will run at 300-650 Lumens for long periods, you need a larger light.
