PM6 OEM holsters shrinking?

I just got a second Pelican M6, and the included holster is just barely wide enough. I really have to make an effort to get the light into and out of the holster. My previous PM6 came with a noticably wider holster that is loose enough to make insertion and extraction easy but just tight enough to hold the light in by friction if I hold it upside down with the flap open. The newer holster is also about 3/4 of an inch taller than the older one.

Old holster: 1 7/8" wide x 6" tall x 1 1/2" deep
(belt loop is 1" wide)

New holster: 1 1/2" wide x 6 3/4" tall x 1 1/2" deep
(belt loop is 1/2" wide)

The newer PM6 came in a box while the older came in a clamshell sonic-welded package.

I noticed that too. On the back of the first, wider holster, it has CAT #2307 and on the newer, smaller one, it has CAT #2357.

I also like the larger, fatter one better. It's also shorter in length.
