Hey guys,
I've been searching for a midsized flashlight that is very bright and these 3 have caught my interest.
First off, Fenix is coming out, or already out, with the TK21 equipped with XM-L U2 and/or T6. 468 lm OTF on max.
EagleTac T20C2 MKII XM-L T6, also fits the bill, but I'm a bit confused on the brightness. EagleTac USA claims 720 LED lm and 580 ANSI lm, but Lightjunction says 580 LED lm and 465 ANSI lm.
I think the ThruNite Scorpion looks pretty sick and falls in the same class as the 2 listed above. One website only lists the LED lm, which was 600 lm; another only lists the ANSI lm, which is 460 lm. Seems about right compared to the TK21 and ET T20C2.
I know everyone does not like it when people ask the question, "which one is better?" and it depends on the individuals preferences: UI, aesthetics, etc.
So instead of me asking the general, "which one should I get?" I will ask the question, "which one would YOU get and why?" I think this might give me some good feedback for my decision.
