LED Heads:
ArcAAA has machined/stripped/satin alumium "reflector", Ultra-G is anodized in dark green.
Beam Comparison with Ultra-G (#1)
Beams w. Ultra-G (#2)
lights about 9" away from standard letter sized white copy paper (the + mark is just for my digicam to focus on) daylight white balance set on digicam.
The overall beam circle of the ArcAAA is about 2/3 that of the Ultra-G. The coverage circle of the Ultra-G is more useful for me, as it seems to light up the room a bit better - with the ArcAAA after the Ultra-G seemed like looking down more of a tunnel. The ArcAAA hotspot is a bit more blue than either of my 2 Ultra-Gs
ArcAAA bought from MWR - BroadArrow.Net for $17 (+$3.85 shipping = exact USPS Priority mail) ordered Sunday Sept/14 received Thurs Sept/18. Looks like the late-2002 to early-2003 in-between-y model before the official 2003 came out in spring 2003.
Ultra-G's from CountyComm - #1 bought Dec/2002, #2 with NSN # engraved bought July/2003 -
