The original Triplex V2 used two CR2 cells...as I understand now though, they changed to three N cells. Probably because of availability. You can't find CR2 cells in Seattle, but N cells are fairly common.

The CR2's are roughly half the size and capacity of CR123's. Same price in the shops though.
