Hi, I just recently ordered some Ultrafire protected button top 18650 2600mah cells for my M1X, and a tube extender. I put it all together and its not powering on. I have been usuing ultrafire 18500's with it previously that worked fine, but I was looking for a longer run time. Whats the problem here? Anyone else have this problem? Everything seems to fit fine and is making contact. The cells are also freshly charged.
Jetbeam M1X doesnt work with 18650's?

try the cells in a different light, or measure it with a voltmeter.
those cells crap out easily, because of the low quality protection circuit.
make sure the body, extender, switch and head are fully tightened, making sure its making good enough contact.
if you have to troubleshoot alittle to determine if one of the cells are crap, or that the light itself is.
