Sold/Expired SOLD - Polished, 18650 Custom Body SF, Triple XP-G on Copper Slug

I am selling my most recent creation. A custom machined, Polished Aluminum, Copper Heatsinked, XP-G Triple. Output is estimated at 1500 lumens when using an IMR cell. This is a one of a kind light, which I originally built for myself, but (as usual) have decided to sell to fund another project.















Triple XP-G R5 20mm PCB (Direct Drive)
Solid Copper Heatsink
Carclo 20mm Triple XP-G optic (Narrow/Spot)
Mineral Glass lens to protect the acrylic optic.
Custom 1x18650 Body.
Surefire Z44 Bezel (de-anodized to match body)
Surefire Z41 Tailcap (de-anodized to match body)
Oveready/McClicky Kit
Two IMR 18650 Cells included (Sony - Konion - US18650V - 1600mah/4.2v)

The internal dimensions of the body are matched to the copper heatsink for maximum thermal transfer. Once the bezel is tightened completely, no springs are required between the slug and the body to make solid ground contact.

This is a direct drive unit. With an IMR cell, current to the emitters will exceed 5A. Testing under these conditions shows no immediate side effects or tint shift. The bezel however, will get uncomfortably hot. For this reason, when using an IMR cell, it is best to use the light only for momentary illumination.

Wow, just wow. That price seems VERY reasonable for this one of a kind light. I was reading and looking at pics as I scrolled down and was waiting to see $500.. but its less than half that! Man, if only I had the cash.

This light is direct drive. It has 2 modes: ON and OFF.

Man o man, I wish I could be there when you open the package containing your new custom light. You are going to have the biggest, stupidest grin on your face. Congratulations on your purchase! I just can't stop coming by this thread to oooooo and ahhhhhh over that light engine. Man that thing is a sexy beast. Great photos, I just love the look of the machined copper. If you made one of those that dropped in to a standard 6P host, I'd buy one and I'm SURE I'm not the only one!
