How does the Quark 123^2 compare with the Mini 123?

Hey guys, I got a Mini 123 S2 and was thinking of grabbing another torch. Was wondering how the beam on the Quark 123^2 S2 compare. Although one is 6v and one is 3v, is there a noticeable difference between their beams? If they're very similar then there's prob no reason to go for it.

They're not dramatically different, but the Mini has a slightly shallower reflector than the bigger Quarks, so they will throw a little farther. The 123^2 is also about 33% brighter, and runs about 33% longer on max. Modest differences, though they add up. Plus the full-size light gives you a clicky switch, and can be more comfortable to hold for an extended period.
