surefire 6r failure

hi:
my 1yr old surefire 6r or 6p (the one w/removeable center section) has failed..bulb h/b changed--no results.. it happened w/o prior symptoms..what should I do first..battery h/b charged, contacts cleaned etc..

If you have tried new bulbs, batteries and cleaning the contacts, the only remaining culprit must be the switch. Try a tailcap from another surefire, or go the easy route and get in touch with Surefire customer service, they will look after you.
