I've got a LF D36 single mode on its way, and want to modify it to deliver 1.4/1.5A.
Anyone got any ideas?

Ahh... I was hoping to reuse the existing board and "piggy-back some circuitry" (1-2 AMC7135 maybe?) to keep the wide input voltage.
Else I'll have to replace it with a 17mm buck driver for 3.6-9V (1x 18650 to 3x 123 primaries).

My EDC is a D26 XRE with SMO reflector, and a EZ900 chip running at 1.4A (on max), trowing approx. 125 "useful" meters.

But I want mooore throw, mooore light! :)

Specs from LFshop:
- 3.6V to 13V Regulated Input for Maximum Flexibility
- Maximum Current Output at 1000mA

I'm looking for 3.6-9V in and putting out as close to 1.5A, or so.
