I hope he spent as much money on inventory as he did on domain names.

And MORE than he spent on web page design. That's some of the ugliest HTML I've seen in a while.

those sites are B.S. all you get when you click on a link to chek out a product is the same page. I bet you can`t even order from them. looks like a rip -off to me

Agreed - that`s some horribly inefficient code for such a plain page. Wouldn`t even open in Notepad. Just another reason why I like to write my pages by hand - I`m sure Adobe GoLive is a nice program but does it really need all that code?

-

But I digress. Finally a source for the Aitec AT2000 that I reviewed a while back (they call it Blue Menace, it`s the one on the left) assuming it`s legit that is. But typically of course, there`s no pricing info yet which is really what I`m interested in - the TRS doesn`t link to suppliers I havn`t dealt with directly so I won`t be doing that. But the AT2000 still has a TBA rating for Value for Money cos I have no idea what they retail for. Hopefully they`ll put some prices on there soon.

It does look like a bit like a link farm though. Don`t click on anything, every link goes somewhere else and I don`t care to find out where. What`s up with that?

He has frean trilens flashlights that look like Waynes. Also has trilens drop ins for mags. Fraen, & IMS optics? Nicha 1w's, boosters. Some interesting goodies but is it just under construction or what?

Re: Anyone seen this site, 3 and 5 watt flashlight

A notice on the website says it won't be ready until Oct 1 so maybe we should cut him some slack until things are up and running. Also, there's nothing inherently evil about registering multiple domains unless he happened to grab one that you wanted for yourself.

There certainly is a wide selection of lights on the site - many of which I've never seen before. It's great to see LED flashlights becoming more mainstream. Hopefully increasing sales of all these lights will help to bring down the price for some of the more exotic lights that many on this forum prefer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon6.gif

whoo-wee!

"Uses 1/10th the energy of 'old' flashlights!"
"A single 1 watt Luxeon® LED = 25 'old tech' 5mm LED's!"
"leading international manufacturer,
importer, exporter & distributor of LED lighting"

And my favorite:

"These are the latest technology LED flashlights"

At least they`re not squatting arc-flashlight.com /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Then again, better not go giving them ideas. You have to ask - inherantly evil or not, why on earth spend all that much on so many domains all pointing at the same dreadfully coded page? Is it to ensure they always turn up on every search engine when presented with "luxeon", "led flashlight", etc - cos if so, they`ll be mighty dissapointed. Google frowns on that sort of thing - they`d be lucky to turn up at all.

From what I know, this is one of the suggested tactics to raise your visibility on search engines (have multiple linked pages to each other). So, for a modest outlay he can get on the first page of a google tm) search without sponsoring their engines. Probably got tired of selling lights on E-Bay and Amazon...

Even with one legitimate website, what he is doing with all the other names is domain-squatting. I wish people would stop doing things like that.
