Good to hear it arrived safely!
These lights are sweet and IMO, more useful with a much nicer tint!
Good luck with the sale! Absolutely great price!...shouldn't last long!

Gunga, the beam profile is the same as the original sapphire 25. All flood, no spot. I would not say theres much throw. Its much like a mule.

QTC can be used, but I have not tried it.

Hope this helps.

On my way to the PO now to mail this guy out.

A couple questions. How was the beam with the xpg? Any throw?

Can you use qtc with this light for variable levels?

I just got a stock Sapphire 25 and dropped a QTC in, and ... it works great !

Since the battery tube is not specifically designed for this, its thickness leaves the O-ring pretty close to the top when unscrewed to completely off. Might be a bit less water-resistant while off, but probably still "splashproof". I'm not too concerned, personally, but I wouldn't dunk it.

I didn't try wedging it into the foam washer at the top, but that might give better clearance (at a higher risk of losing the QTC during a battery change).
