I received an email from "Microsoft Customer Support" in regards to a "patch" for the latest security issues. The text is as follows:
"Microsoft Customer
this is the latest version of security update, the "September 2003, Cumulative Patch" update which fixes all known security vulnerabilities affecting MS Internet Explorer, MS Outlook and MS Outlook Express as well as three new vulnerabilities. Install now to maintain the security of your computer from these vulnerabilities, the most serious of which could allow an malicious user to run code on your system. This update includes the functionality of all previously released patches. "
The attached file, named "qbix.exe" contains the Swen virus. Info from Mcafee: SWEN Virus Info.
