Help~ weird Packaging M7 ledlenser

i got my led lenser m7 two.. but my packaging is so weird...

1st.. the box is so flat... the clip and hostel come outside the box...



then.. on box it says 204 lumens???? (everything else says 220)





then... i bought it on 23 of may 2011.. but my unit serial is 00030! is the a very early model?? or izzit early model packaging????



then.. i owned to have a P7... it has the manual (black and white) saying what battery can use or not one... this one dint have?!!! it only can in this sh*t advert



and the printed lock and unlock sign is on the back side of the touch.. not the front side above the led lenser print on the body...



see front top... nothing...



can some one help me on this????? if any one have the manual..can u scan and email for me??? pls~~ thanks..

Seems normal to me.

I've purchased the 'newer' version which has the cree emitters and the box still stated they had nichia so the lumens on your box may or may not represent your version. (I'm not daft - I can tell cree emitters)

As for the serial number I can't answer.

Does your head rotate or feel like it can only go up or down?

The older LL's I owned you cannot twist the head, only move it forwards or backwards. If you take the head off there's a raised section (older models) that fits the head like a key so to speak, but can only go up or down, this compromises the lights ability to withstand water submersion and is the reason the newer versions heads are able to rotate 360 degrees.

when i bought it stated as 2011 model... but the seriel is only at 30.... the one use to advert on ledlenser side is 00010... hmmm could say now i am not a happy buyer...

hmmm i also owned a p7 ... this m7 can twist and lock...

but now i have a problem... i got no manual!! i donno how the freaking function all work!!! donno how to go tactical, pro or easy...

and i donno could i use the energizer lithium or not...

if only LL have a system like fenix.. which i could instantly verify my unit...

Looks like the new model- all legit. Yes you can used Energizer Lithuims- work a treat in mine. You may have to look on line with LL for instructions.

but... i really could not find and of the instruction... even in pdf format... P7 yes.. M7.. no much luck for me on that...

do u have a p7? everything seem abit light and more loosen then my 1 year old p7...

The function should be identical to the P7- I have both and they function the same. A little more loose? Not sure about that. These are all coming out of China now (not Germany) so maybe the quailty control on the newer models is slipping? I think the lock/antilock function is providing more movement in these new models.

M7 is regulated and having 8 light mode.. plus 3 setting mode~~ P7 only have 2... so i really need a manual for m7...

looks like there is not much LL user out there compare to fenix and other mainstream brand... not much info i could get on LL product...

so i really do appreciate for all the replies here... a big thanks for u all!!
