Hello all,
I use an old Night Ops Gladius with AW rechargeable as my backup light.

It keeps turning itself on! Is there any known method to repair this either myself or via a servicer out there?

Regards

Will it turn on even in lockout mode? Mine sometimes turns on because I bump the switch and don't realize it.

Yes, it does turn on when the switch is locked. I have also found that the switch does not act, sometimes, you have to loosen then tighten the cap before it comes on.

It is a pretty decent backup light, a pity that I cant trust it to do what it is meant to - BE RELIABLE!!

Bummer sounds like somethings definitely wrong then. These lights are getting old and unfortunately I don't think replacement parts are very easy to obtain if at all.

Do you know anyone else that has a gladius? If so, swap switches to see if theirs functions properly on your light.

. . . with AW rechargeable . . .

The Gladius isn't rated for use with rechargeables - perhaps the voltage is messing with the electronics in the switch. Have you tried it with ordinary CR123s ?
