I am moving soon, letting go one of my pride & Joy. I am breaking new grounds here, as its never been done before & you'll never see another one either
Throughout CPF history, there were only 4 custom short arc lights ever made,
one by Ra & 3 by me. 3 are spot lights, only one is a flashlight, this one
Up for sale, is a Custom made killer flashlight called Franken Mag Short Arc:
Measured at 500,000 lux @ 1 meter, This is probably the longest throwing flashlight ever seen on CPF BST
I cut open the Night hunter II (a $2000 flashlight when new ) and cut a maglight & joint them together to make this, runs on a 120W UHP short arc lamp, driven by a 50W HID ballast to deliver the astonishing throw in a flashlight format.
It runs on 3 AW IMR 25500, included.
Also incuded are IR filter (a $450 item by night hunter) and
a Soft carrying case (Another $450 item by night hunter)

If you have a fast car, you need to get this short arc flashlight in it
Asking $899 big reduction $799 $699-
PP gift: $24 shipping/Insurance, US only. Need separate 1 penny PP Goods for making label
PP goods OK but buyer takes care the additional 4% fee.
Causion:
UHP lamp is under high pressure even when cold, do not take the front lens off!
This flashlight emit high UV, do not look into the beam or shine at people!
This flaslight has long starting warm-up time, about 30sec., but once warned up, it'll blow you away!
This flashlight is a dedicated "thrower", Polarion or other HID will have much more lumens, this will throw a very small spot very far like Maxa Beam in spot mode,
don't throw as far as Maxa Beam but the spot is a little bigger. It's got similar lumens as Maxa Beam, ~1500 lumens.

- it'll out throw surerfire beast and Polarion X1, (both are expensive >$2000 flashlights).
- it'll out throw Thor 15million cp spotlight
