Wow~!
Thanks a lot for video & pictures. The beam tint seems not so colder than my thought. Just looks like milk white.

This looks awesome. I want to know more about using those two cr123a's in there instead. OUtput/runtime curve, but mainly whether it's okay per zebralight, no danger to self or light etc.

Thanks for sharing all the great pics!

What would be the reason for not using CR123's? Aside from Zebralight says so, why do they say no CR123...

Max voltage on the SC600 driver is 4.2V so the 6V from two cr123a cells is too much. You will either fry the driver or overheat the emitter in a short time. You can not and should not use cr123a cells. The light was designed to use ONE 18650 cell.

Thanks! I really thought the 18650 cell was the equivalent of 2 CR123's in series not just in size but voltage. I've never dealt with 18650's or owned a light that needed them. The Zebralight sc600 looked like a nice solid light kinda reminds me of a surefire but I saw the 18650 requirement and I don't have any of those cells. Maybe for kicks my next light will be something that can take 18650s.

The tint of the beamshots is beautiful! I managed to get yellowish / green. Do you have the white balance on the camera set to auto? Just wondering how accurate you think the tint is in the pictures compared to the real thing.

I've not held a zebralight but it *looks* well made and designed. It's actually aesthetically pleasing in design.
