Fenix defusers don't work with PD31 don't know what to get?

Well I had my heart set on getting a 2 CR123 light there just the right length and thickness. Mainly the Fenix PD31 special edition with all the accesories idk but I think the lamp and defuser cone are cool and the 31's got 304 lumens and it takes 18650's but the accesories only work with the LD10, LD20, PD20 and the 265 lumen PD30 (and a couple others). And I have also found the Klarus NT20 which puts out 280 lumens and I really like the interface but the PD31 is still brighter. So idk what to do

You probably won't be able to tell 280 lumens from 304 unless you try pretty hard on a white wall, so if you like the UI on the NT20 go for it rather than a light with 24 extra lumens. If you want to use 18650s though you'll have to go for the PD31, if you can find one that is.

I have found 2 sites with them. Thats another reason I want the 31 its limited but IDK.

Does the PD30 put out 257 or 265?

I would go with the pd30. nothing really special about the 31 and you get to use the diffuser cones with the 30. here is a video comparing the 30 and the 31 (at about the 2:45 mark) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLxmJ631Weg

I like the PD30 better as well unless you really want to run 18650, if your set on a PD31 the Surefire F04 diffuser should fit, I have not tried it but the measurements are real close.

Another reason I like the PD31 and the Klarus are there 2 lumen low mode vs. the PD30's 10 lumens maybe I should just get one of them and a LD20 for the accessories? IDK but again klasus's 2AA light is brighter.

Get the PD30 and all the accesories and be happy with 265 lumens

Brighters better PD31

280 isn't much less than 304 get the Klarus
