4sevens used to make an 18650 tube that fit all the quarks, but they discontinued it. I have two of em and love em. I wish they still made it, but they kept having issues with them. I had an issue with one of mine, but they fixed it for me. It's a shame they're gone. Anyway, the 17670 battery works fine in the quark 123x2.

Also, when I use a 17670 or a 18650 I have not noticed the light falling out of regulation any sooner than with two CR123's or two RCR123's.

is there a noticable difference in using a 17670 battery vs the CR123's? brighter? longer run times using the 17? thanks and sorry for the questions. i am starting to feel the addiction lol

btw which MAH do you use with the 17670? 1800mah?
