NOW its clear the body was made by Morelite first, and Mac put the croc pattern on it.
A real piece of CPF hystorie and a must for every collector....:naughty:

The 2*123 or 17670 body has the "croc" design and lays very good in your hand.

Price is 180$ 170$ 160$ 155$ NOW 140$

All parts are interchangeanble with Aleph and Surefire E-Series also the newer
McGizmos, like Haiku and Makai.

I like to think that I am well acquainted with most of TB's wonderful work, but the head and body are not familiar to me.
They certainly seem to be unusual/rare styles for Scott. :thumbsup:

Yes for sure theay are...also with Aleph-Series and also the newer McGizmo one's (Haiku, Makai...)

I'm not sure about the body, but that head is certainly Davide's style. Look's like one from DGD's workshops.

Are you sure the trit bezel is Ti? It sure looks like a Peu bezel and those where SS, the color in the 2nd pic also looks more like SS than Ti. I know Don made a few Ti trit bezels but the profile looked a little different and they where very hard to come by.
If it is Ti then I'm interested in the head just to get the bezel.

All i can say is, thats non-magnetic and looks the same like the rest.
Other ways to test it?

Most stainless steel is non-magnetic.

Weight (density) would be pretty different, though.

I would need to know the weight of a Peu SS bezel with trits...

Can someone please help me out?

If the head is erins style he also did ti-bezels with slots,or?

The only person who ever made Ti bezels with trits was Don McGizmo many years ago. There were only a few (that came with a few select lights) and they had less height than this one which looks like a Peu bezel to me.

Erin made some very shallow distinct bezel retaining rings that came with his heads, but they definitely did not have trits in them and they don't look anything like these.

In general, I think its better not to make definitive claims if there is an element of doubt.
