Hello,
I have a Jetbeam BC40 and really like the form and function. One problem: The top-most o-ring is getting mangled by something in the head. This causes two problems: first, it is difficult to switch between high and low. Second, the o-ring is getting destroyed.

Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix? I have contacted JetBeam, but they are slow to respond...

When i first got mine i noticed it had just a lick of grease on the head, so i used some inox ptfe grease it now functions smooth as silk.Check inside the head for any debri or burrs clean and change the orings from the spares kit. Make sure u lube orings before u put them on. Jetbeam dont use much lube same with the bc10 i just bought. Im pretty sure lube is the problem.

I have not had any problems with mine, but I will check the o-ring condition now that you mention it. Mine twists smoothly high to low also. Like wise I lubed mine with some synthetic grease liberally before using it.
