Late model Surefire A2 Aviator with White LED's. I bought it around this time last year factory fresh straight from Surefire, so I have the satisfaction of knowing it is one of the last one's produced. My most valuable flashlight is my Surefire 10X Dominator, which was going for around $500 before it was discontinued.

Best all round Flashlight: Beam quality, output, runtime, useful low mode = Malkoff MD2 Camo. AW16340's, Hi/Low ring.
Best EDC : As above but more pocket friendly = Zebralight SC60W. AW18650.

the one I use the most is a Mini mag modified with a Trealux Led and rear clicky. It fits nicely in my toolbags and I don't have to worry about it walking off on the job!!!

i think i agree that your best light is probably the one you use the most.
mine is a fauxton modded with one of these Radioshack LEDs.

I have many "best" lights. It depends on what I'm doing.
My best EDC is not my best campinglight.
My best thrower would be tough to EDC, or carry for work, or repair my truck at night etc.
Pick one best all around? TK15, or C2 HA bored, with an Anto drop-in. Maybe.

Most used is probably the ITP A3 followed by the BD Storm headlamp.

My favorite is my Sunwayman V10R Ti. My most used is my zebralight H51F
My best all around is a Surefire U2 modded with a neutral white MC-E.
It does everything well. 6 levels, good spill with good throw. It even takes 18650's.

I probably use my Quark 1X123 and NC EX10 the most but I still consider the Malkoff MD2/M60W to be my best light.

HDS rotary is my *finest* light. I own many lights. The oldest, dinged up lights are my favorites: ROP 2D, HDS 140, my Surefire M6s, & M4s.
