I'm looking to make my new L2r host into a general purpose astronomy flashlight.

I'd like either a true deep red module (about 670 nm or longer wavelength), or a night vision green module, that are capable of sub-lumen output, and operates at a low voltage range (≤ 4.2v), I'd love to know about it.

Or, if there are any gel filters I can get that will produce either kinds of these tints that could be used with a multi-mode module, that'd be the next best thing.

Thanks in advance.

Just ordered a green and a red drop in from solarforce they have a 1-3 or 5 mode and i think there rated at 245 or 265 lumens or you can go to solarforce-usa but they only offer the 5 mode drop in but they also offer a blue unit there the only catch is that drop ins at solarforce hk are $14 at solarforce-usa drop ins are $25 on the up side everything at solarforce-usa is free shipping hope that helps
