walgreens has a "bucket" of these $2 lights. they have a poorly chromed head and cap with various color bodies. they are paper thin. of course they are pretty much junk. the switch is absurd although it is a tail clicky. it is slightly bigger than a keymate. it has 5 leds stuffed in it. i opened a a23,discarded one cell, taped them and stuck them in there. it has not blown in an hour of use due to the internal resistance. the threads are horrible and teflon helped a little. the revealing quality of this is it is very small and as bright as an an x5.
barring the a23 which is not required i feel it is worth the $2.
