I haven't tried on my 300. I would try and see if you can see what kind of board it has. If its DD, I would say "at your own risk" and in short bursts (stopping immediately if it grows angry blue!). With a driver of some sort, maybe if it can step down the voltage enough to not fry it. Just curious, what is the intent? If the voltage is in hopes of brightness, I would be concerned of frying the little thing. If it's runtime, that would only work if it has the ability to step the voltage down. You got me thinking and I'll have to see if I can get mine apart to see for myself.
