What single AAA light can take a 14400 battery boost the lumens?
Can the LD01? Or the 4Seven preon1?
Possibly close to 300 lumens?

the 4-7 AA-R5 Tactical does ~120 OTF with an eneloop and 225 OTF with a 14500. I believe it was designed with 14500 capability in mind. The Fenix LD01 is a 1AAA, and won't fit a 14500 (AA) sized cell. If you mean the LD10, the answer is YES it will direct drive the LED off a 14500 cell, but you loose the low modes. There is some CPF history of members using these cells in Fenix lights and overheating the LED by leaving it on too long. I don't believe Fenix recommends the use of these cells in their lights.

I am not sure if an LD10 is close to 300 OTF off a 14500, even if it is it will only be a short while before it suffers thermal dimming. XPG lights this small and light do not have sufficient thermal cooling to maintain steady brightness at this level when direct driven.

If i remember right, the Preon 1 did 303 OTF lumens at startup with a 10440 :) But it will lose many lumens before it's stabilized.

For how long does it hold the 303? A few minutes? I was looking for something extra small (think keychain ring) and powerful but a little m
Longer run time than a few min. Maybe I'll just get a quark mini c2/c123.
