Looking for at least 10 hours at 100 lumens...is this possible on 4 AA's. Are there any AA's I can't or shouldn't use with a Malkoff? What about Eneloop XX's...are they worth the $$$$? Thanks.

Depending of the kind and quality of AA cells I would guess between ~7-15 hours, lithiums maybe close to 20 hours. Any AA battery(not AA-sized 14500) should work good with M61LL, and give full brightness with 4AA cells in series.

What P60 host are you using that can take 4 AA cells?

x3 18650 Leef body w/ AA sleeves.

ash11,
I'm sure you'd get the 100 lumens for 10 straight hours with eneloops.
You can use any battery chemistry as long as voltage doesn't exceed 9V.
Eneloops are worth the money if you take care of them, which is easy with a good charger and common sense(find info in the battery section).

Another suggestion to use your Leef x3 18650 body is:
x2 18650 and x2 CR123 Dummy Cells-- that'll give you insane runtime.(20+hrs??).
ALSO, instead of the x2 CR123 Dummy Cells, you can contact MartinDWhite for a "Dummy 18650 Cell".

The Malkoff M61LL will run 10 hours on 2 x 123 so 4 x AA should be 20 hours no problem on L91s, less than 20 hrs for Enloops, probably 15 hours, more than 10 for sure.
