I have the Jetbeam III M XML, and it is great light. The 450 lumen output is actually very bright, and Jetbeam regulates their lights to be used for constant high usage. Also the Jetbeam will run on RCR123 batteries. Looking at the specs. I would still choose the Jetbeam since you can adjust the other level at the setting you choose plus it is very easy to adjust if you need to make it brighter or dimmer.

I can't speak on the Solarforce, but I just picked up a Jetbeam III M XML for my Father to give as a birthday present next month. Have been playing with it the last couple days and I can tell you I'm going to have a really hard time wrapping it up and giving it to him as I've fallen in love with the thing. Truly a great light and I LOVE the customized loose setting for it!

Solarforce M6 is overpriced. This light should cost $50 (the price of Solatek MT2, which is basically the same light).

I have just purchased the M6 from the manufacturers site.
It now comes with XM L2. This will be my biggest thrower yet. :grin2: ...

Now priced at $39.00
