oh, good morning flood. my car and lot, underwater.

this morning was stupid.


my parking lot was under several feet of standing, oily, nasty water. my car was in it.

My fiancee's car was in my garage, and was actually deeper than mine. we got them both out, I spent the morning helping people drag their cars out of the lake. I mean, parking lot. lake.

the water rose four more feet from 7 am to noon. it was another foot or so higher at 4 when i got home. There is a lot of people with totalled cars today in new brighton...

right now i'm looking for a new car online.

That sucks. 6 months ago we had massive floods here in Oz. While I was mercifully unaffected, many people here can sympathise with you.

Feel the pain about the floods. We were hit hard earlier this year.
