Hi everyone, I'm a newby here, looks way cool.

I bought a Dorcy Spyder at Costco this weekend, and now I'm hooked. Gotta get a better light /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The Spyder is pretty bright. They rate it at 120 lumens, but I think that's gotta be bogus from what I've heard and compared it to other Surefires that I've seen. I'm guessing it's closer to 60, as it seems roughly equivelent to an E2 that I saw.

So, now that I want a better light. The G3R from Pila looks like exactly what I want - bright, and rechargable. They rate the G3R at 130 Lumens. My question - is it *really* 130 lumens, or is it an overblown rating?

Any thoughts or suggestions? I'd like the brightest light I can carry on my belt for EDC, mostly for geek factor, but also utility, and I don't want to have to change CR123's every other day /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks...

My PG3 puts out more light than my Surefire 9N and P91 equipped 9P. Couldn't tell you a Lumen rating, but it's very bright for its size.
